I can feel you leaving me for her
I can see you not caring to speak to me
You may be happy with her
But I'm not happy for you. I can't be.
I liked you first, and you didn't like me
What do you see in her, that you don't see in me?
You bring my hopes up and down
And throw them all around
I wish you would tell me the truth
And then one day I told you
Then I knew it was true
You did not think that I
Was good enough for you
So not I try to get over you
And forget you everyday
And give the hurt you have me
By being mean in a way
So now I'll try to say good-bye
And I'll miss you in a way
I thought that I was in love
Instead my heart was played.
Lemme tell you somethin'
All girls should know
When you want respect
You need to know where to go!
When I want respect
I know where to hang
And it certainly is not
Where boys talk all this slang!
When I want respect
I gotta look nice and pass
I know where to go-
To the Upper Class!
Where the men look good
All dressed up in suits.
And when they're casual
In Timberland boots!
But while they're in suits,
Dressed from bottom to top
I like it when they tip thier hat
And when they kiss my hand...drop

To say you want to take me somewhere
But you never give me a clue
So I'll wait longer...
I cannot dismiss my feelings
They just grow stronger
your lips I want to kiss
My body I want you to touch
My Ihand I want you to hold
Your smile I want to share
Each cold choulser breaks my heart
Each girl I see you with brings me to tears
But each hello brightens my day
And each time we meet draws me nearer to you
And yet, you don't notice
How my heart bleeds for you
How my heart yearns for you
How my hands wish to hold yours
How my lips long to converse
How my lips long to kiss
But I'll never say a word....
